Wicklow, Loreto is a Tiglin Accommodation Centre currently providing a temporary home to individuals and families displaced by the war in Ukraine. More than just shelter, Loreto offers a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment where residents can find stability, access essential services, and begin planning for the future. At present, the centre focuses on meeting immediate needs and creating a strong sense of community and belonging. However, the long-term vision for Loreto is to evolve into a consortium of community services — a hub that brings together organisations and initiatives dedicated to supporting people through housing, wellbeing, education, and integration. In a time of immense uncertainty, Loreto stands as a place of refuge, hope, and new beginnings — with an eye toward lasting impact and collaboration.
