OUR SERVICES? Family Support Family Support Purpose: To support the families of those in our care and support them as their family members undertake a journey of recovery. At Tiglin, we understand that addiction doesn’t just affect the individual — it affects the entire family. That’s why we are committed to walking alongside families as they navigate the challenges, trauma, and emotional toll that addiction can bring. Our Family Support Service exists to offer families the space, tools, and care they need to begin their own healing journey — whether or not their loved one is in recovery. Why Family Support Matters Addiction impacts the family in deep and lasting ways. Families often carry emotional wounds and confusion, and they deserve support too. Recovery isn’t just for the individual — family recovery is equally important. When families are supported and empowered, it creates a stronger foundation for long-term healing for everyone involved. Through our programme, families can: Learn about the effects of addiction on the whole family system Develop strategies for personal wellbeing, boundaries, and resilience Heal from past trauma and avoid enabling behaviours Gain community through shared experiences with others on similar journeys Support the recovery of their loved one through a healthier family environment What We Offer Tiglin provides a range of support services for families affected by addiction, including: Monthly Family Support Groups – safe, welcoming spaces to share, learn, and connect with others One-to-One Support – with our dedicated Family Support Worker, available by phone or in person Therapeutic Support – for families of individuals in our residential programmes, including counselling for children as young as 3 Virtual Options – for those who cannot attend in person Support from the Start – beginning at the assessment phase, ensuring families have access to guidance and information early in the process From your first introduction to the Tiglin programme, we make it a priority to include and support you.
