Team Phil Thompson, CEO Biography: Having worked for many years in the homeless sector, Phil Thompson cut his teeth in the Ceder House Facility in Dublin city centre. While there, he had a passionate desire to help those homeless individuals who were caught in addiction. In 2008, Phil Thompson co-founded the first Tiglin facility in Ashford, County Wicklow and became its Manager. Phil is now the CEO of the entire organisation. During that time, he has had cutting edge training from distinguished researchers and practitioners in the field. Adrienne has solidified herself as the organisation's liaison by operating through her motto that good order is the foundation of all things. He has held various roles including Team Leader at the Tiglin Men’s Centre in Ashford since 2008. He has gained a considerable amount of experience in helping people in our care through their journey in rehab and reintegrating back into society. He enjoys one to one settings, as well as helping and supporting people to attain what is best for them on their personal journey. In his current role, he works in conjunction with a wider multidisciplinary team and other relevant agencies and acts as an advocate where appropriate. He facilitates each person's journey with educational, training and upskilling where necessary to help them become more employable. This includes elements of personal development that contribute to the wellbeing of each individual. She started in the field working for VEC as a personal development Tutor designing and delivering FETAC accredited courses to Drug services within Dublin. She has worked through the whole continuum of care from low threshold, stabilisation, residential to managing the Drug Free Aftercare Programme. Her varied roles have included Educator, Facilitator, Outreach worker, keyworker, Psychotherapist, CE Supervisor & Manager. She is a qualified Reality Therapist. Currently, Jay is working in an Aftercare Residential program for young adults exiting the care system. He is also a great believer in education and employment opportunities being a key to restoring and advancing one's life.
