All proceeds go towards running the charity. Once a beloved tea room nestled beside Carraig Eden in Greystones, Rise at the Cove has been reimagined into an award-winning social enterprise café with purpose at its heart. Founded in 2021 through the vision of Tiglin CEO Phil Thompson, Rise at the Cove was created as more than just a café — it’s a community hub, a training ground, and a beacon of second chances. Every cup of coffee and every bite served supports Tiglin’s mission, with all proceeds going directly back into our services for people overcoming homelessness, addiction, and displacement. The café provides real-world work experience and training opportunities for individuals in recovery or transition, helping remove barriers to employment and reduce stigma. The goal is simple: to restore dignity, build skills, and foster connection — one person, one job, one conversation at a time. Set in the heart of Greystones, voted Ireland’s Most Liveable Community twice, Rise at the Cove has become a well-loved local space. Alongside its delicious offerings, the café is home to a community sauna and hosts a variety of weekly wellness and social activities, making it a place where healing, hope, and community truly come together.
